A bit more about me…
Currently I’m a User Researcher at Square, where I uncover insights that shape strategy, design, and product decisions for Orders and Reporting. My work helps sellers efficiently manage orders across platforms and make data-informed decisions, ensuring our solutions meet diverse user needs while reducing risk in design and product development.
Before working at Square, I was working at Visa’s Innovation Center as a Design Researcher and strategist helping clients uncover new opportunities and co-create solution related to commerce and financial services. I had the opportunity to collaborate with companies like Bank of America, Wells Fargo, Alaska Airlines, Southwest Airlines, Ford, and more, focusing on improving payment and commerce experiences.
Prior to that I earned my MFA at the University of Miami, specializing in UX Design. Returning to school was an incredible experience—I grew my design craft, developed technical and analytical skills through data visualization and programming courses, and worked with Dr. Millet in the UX lab on the Hurakan initiative.
I’ve often been referred to as a hybrid researcher/designer because I enjoy spotting opportunities, thinking creatively, and bridging research with design. I love exploring unseen opportunities and developing thoughtful, forward-looking research that helps shape strategy and product decisions.
Beyond my own work, I see myself as a coach for others—whether it’s through thoughtful feedback, mentorship, or storytelling. I’m passionate about helping others grow in their craft, and elevating the quality of insights.
Outside of work, I enjoy making things (drawing, sewing, etc.), flipping tarot cards, and going for walks with my husband, Mike and our dog, Margo.
